FAQ
1. What kind of memberships do we have at SATS Volvo Cars?
One Club VAK:
SEK 150/month, 12-month binding period
Applies for: Volvo Cars/Polestar employees and consultants with a business email and VCC VAK access. Coor, restaurant staff at VAK.
One Club VCT:
SEK 150/month, 12-month binding period
Applies for: Volvo Cars employees and consultants with a business email and VCC VCT access. Securitas, Lernia, Coor, restaurant staff at VCT.
*If you have VCC access to both VAK and VCT you can train at both gyms.
Other memberships: 20% discount
Most Common:
Region Gym: SEK 439,20/month (regular price: SEK 549/month)
Region Group: SEK 519,20/month (regular price: SEK 649/month)

2. What is a PT trial session?
PT trial session is a free 55min session where you get to meet with one of our personal trainers. The two of you discuss your goals, go through with a short workout and come up with a plan on how you are going to achieve your goals.
3. How does it work if I’m already a member at SATS and want to have access to the SATS Volvo Cars gym?
If you have a “One Club” membership (access to one club) you need to upgrade your membership to “region” (access to all SATS clubs in Gothenburg) with 20% discount.
4. Can I choose two clubs to work out at?
No, you can only choose between “one club” or “region” membership. Go to question 1 for prices.
5. How do I become a member?
Go to www.sats.se/volvocars and fill in the application or visit us in the reception in VAK or VCT.
6. Can I use my wellness allowance?
Yes, you can use your wellness allowance at SATS.
Epassi:
Log into the app
Search for SATS Volvo Cars VAK or VCT
Enter the amount you want to use (SEK 1800/ year “one club”)
Confirm
We will then receive a confirmation on your purchase and enter that amount into your SATS profile
Benify:
Alternative 1: One club SEK 1800
Pay for the full membership by card at the reception. We will then send you a wellness receipt that you upload on your Benify portal to get the money back.
Alternative 2: Region membership
Order your membership through the Benify Portal by choosing what kind of membership you want and select payment method wellness allowance or direct debit.
By ordering through the portal, you get a 16% discount. After finishing your order, you can contact us at staff.volvo@sats.se or visit us at the reception and we will help change the discount to 20%.
7. How do I pay for the membership?
You either pay by direct debit or you pay the full amount for a year at any of our clubs. You can also use your wellness allowance. You can easily connect your bank card on “my pages” at sats.se.
8. For how long will these prices last?
The prices will be the same until further notice (SEK 150/month one club Volvo and 20% discount on other SATS memberships.
9. What do the gyms look like?
VAK: 330 kvm gym space with new equipment, both machines and free weights. A room for the group sessions with the capacity for 14-18 persons depending on class. The group session room can be used when no classes are held. There is a treatment room for massages and physiotherapy at the back of the gym that can be booked by both members and non-members.
Changing rooms equipped with code locks, showers, sauna and hairdryer can be used by members and other Volvo employees. The lockers can only be used during the time you work out, not during the day.
VCT: 1000 Kvm gym space with new equipment, machines, free weights, lifting platform and a training cage. There is a group session room with the capacity for up to 25 participants depending on type of class and a cycling room with intelligent cycling classes. Both rooms can be used when no group session is held.
Two treatment rooms for massage and physiotherapy. Treatments can be booked by members and non-members. Changing rooms with lockers, showers, sauna and hairdryer can be used by SATS members (bring a padlock).
10. Are there any group sessions?
Yes, there are group sessions at both VAK and VCT. Click here for current schedule.
11. Can I use the swimming pool at SATS Torslanda?
Yes, if you have a region membership. You just print out a receipt in the reception the same way as for group sessions and show it when entering the swimming pool area. You can find the opening times for exercise swimming linked to SLS on SATS Torslanda home page.
12. How are the opening hours?
Click here for current opening hours, gym and reception. On public holidays the reception will be closed and there will be no group classes. The day before a public holiday the reception will be open as a Friday. If it´s a single day between public holiday and weekend the reception is closed and no classes. The gym at both VAK and VCT is open every day all year round.
13. Where is VAK and VCT located and how do I access the gym?
VAK: next to the restaurant “The Melting Pot”. To enter the changing rooms next to our reception you use your VCC access card (make sure you have the right access), to enter the gym by the gates you use your QR-code in the SATS app.
VCT: located in TB1 entrance TB22 on the second floor. You enter the lobby and changing rooms with your access card (make sure you have the right access), to enter the gym by the gates you use your QR-code in the SATS app.
14. Will consultants and affiliated companies at Volvo Cars be able to become members?
One club VAK:

One club VCT
Applies for*: Volvo cars employees and consultants with a business email and VCC VCT access. Securitas, Lernia, Coor and restaurant staff at VCT.
*If you have access to both VCT and VAK you can use both gyms*
15. If I no longer work at Volvo and still have time left on my binding period, is it possible to cancel the membership?
Yes, as long as you can show a certificate of your last working day, we will be able to cancel your membership the same date. If you have prepaid with wellness allowance, you can´t get a refund. If you have paid with credit card you can get a refund on the unused amount. Email us for help staff.volvo@sats.se.
16. Can I freeze my membership?

17. Can I change my membership during the binding period?
You can always upgrade and downgrade your membership during the binding period. If you prepaid your membership for a year when signing up, you will only be able to upgrade your membership. Upgrades take place straight away while downgrades will apply after 30 days.
18. Can I choose one club at another SATS club and still get a 20% discount?
Yes, contact us for help or chat with customer service at sats.se.
19. Do I need to register direct debit if the total membership fee is covered by my wellness allowance?
Yes, our system needs a bank account number registered. If you pay with your wellness allowance or by card, no money will be deducted from your account/card. Remember to refill your wellness allowance or pay by card a month in advance yearly if you don´t wish to be deducted from your account.
20. Will there be any personal trainers at SATS Volvo cars?
Yes, we have personal trainers at both VAK and VCT. You can book your free PT-Start you get when signing up for a membership in the app. If there is no time available, contact us and we will help you.
21. Can I tryout before buying a membership?
Yes, click here to sign up for a free week. You can also sign up for a membership and use the right of withdrawal within 21 days and only pay for a month.
22. How do I book massage and physiotherapy?
As a member you book it in the SATS app. If you don´t have a membership please contact us via email staff.volvo@sats.se
23. Do I need to bring my own yoga mat to the yoga session?
Yes, you need to bring your own yoga mat at VCT (not VAK), if not we sell yoga mats in the reception. We do lend other yoga equipment that might be needed during the session such as straps and yoga blocks.
